Eibsee is one of the most beautiful lakes in Germany and the perfect destination for an elopement or an after-wedding shooting. The bluest water, the highest mountain in Germany and the interesting landscape are just a few things that are making this place so special. Eibsee is beautiful no matter the weather and I know all the best spots, away from the tourist masses where you and your loved one can have complete serenity for exchanging vows or enjoy the photo session.
Also, don‘t be scared of the rain, it adds a little bit of moodiness and intimacy to the pictures. Imagine that you just got married and you get to dance with the love of your life in the pouring rain, surrounded by epic scenery, feeling a rush inside you that is keeping you warm, despite the cold. Honestly, although it is hard to shoot, this is my favourite kind of photoshoot: where everybody lets go of expectations (including myself when I put pressure on me to always catch the perfect sunset light), where everybody is free and is embracing the fact that yes, the dress will be dirty, the hair will be wet, the shoes will be muddy, but the memories will make them all worth it. Trust me on that. The beauty of nature lies in the fact that it is unpredictable and uncontrollable. Pretty much like LOVE.
