The experience

  1. Unposed, true to yourself.

I am all about capturing you as you are. Of course, I will help guide you to interact with your loved one or my camera, but it won’t feel staged or unrealistic. My approach is all about photographing your essence, character, and emotions. Nothing more, nothing less, but only telling your story through my lens.

2. Breaking traditions

Traditions are sometimes beautiful, but why not make new ones? Do you want to go hike with your family and get married on the top of the mountains at sunset? That’s awesome! Do you want to have a festival wedding? Heck yes! Do you want to revisit all your dear dating-spots and have a memory lane walk with your fiancée? I am all down for this! I don’t believe in having a big wedding that you don’t identify with just because that’s how you are supposed to get married if you don’t feel like it. If that is you-wonderful, just go big and bright, it sounds like so much fun! If not, break traditions and remember that your day is about YOU. And I will make sure to be there and capture that.

3. Investing in memories

Hiring a photographer is an investment. When organizing a wedding it’s important to prioritize the things that matter to you.  At the end of the day, you will be left with a heart full of memories, warm fuzzy feelings and pictures and videos to look back at every time you want to re-live your day. Pictures are what’s left from one of the most important days of your life, they are the things that will increase their value over time when passed on generation to generation. “To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place…I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” ― Elliott Erwitt

 4. Guiding my couples

If you need any help when planning your wedding, I will be there for you. I have been to many weddings before and I saw a lot of challenges that may appear. I can give you suggestions about any questions you may have regarding splitting the wedding timeline, I can give you tips on best locations in the mountains (Germany, Austria, Italy & Switzerland), permits that we may need, other vendors that you may be interested in, what does/ doesn’t look good in photographs when it comes to patterns, decoration, outfits, location, time of the day etc. I am here to help you plan and document the most perfect day for you!

 5. Leave no trace

It is important to protect our beautiful Planet even on your photo shooting day. We must make sure we don’t destroy places, that we leave no trace, we don’t disturb the animals if we find ourselves in a natural reservation. I am against using real animals as decorations, accessories or prompts for weddings (I am not talking about your pets that you want to incorporate on your special day because they are part of the family, I am a big fan of that and I can’t wait to meet your precious pet!). Also, I advise against pollution with air balloons, lampions or plastic confetti. Instead, let’s focus more on creating meaningful moments & connections with the loved ones instead of losing ourselves in all the details that, at the end of the day, don’t matter as much. I chose to work with vendors and organisations that are mindful of our surroundings, so from choosing the photo location to creating your wedding album, I make sure to research and find the best solution for you while minding the environment.

When designing your eco-friendly timeless album, I make sure to work with companies that are certified and committed to environmental responsibility and are represented by an environmentally friendly production process. My albums are made out of ecologically managed forest paper (FSC) and are "green" printed without using the chemical process of photographic development. That way, together we can keep our beautiful planet healthy and we can also design you a beautiful collection of moments that will last for many generations. Win-win!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you offer Adventure Photo sessions that are not weddings?

Yes. I mainly focus on wedding/ elopements, couple shootings & portraits, but I often photograph families, do pregnancy and boudoir sessions, and product photography

How does the booking process work?

You write me an email with the details of the wedding and the date. If I am available on that date, I will write you back and send you a customized package to fit your budget and wishes. After that, we can organize a phone meeting for us to know each other more and talk about your big day. To reserve the date, you must pay a deposit (30% of the total amount). After the wedding (within 7 days) you can pay the rest. Together we will discuss locations, the timeline and all the important details.

How far do you travel for a wedding?

I have been photographing people in Germany, Austria, Italy, Iceland and Romania so far but I can travel anywhere in Europe for your big day, distance is not a problem for me!

How far in advance should we book a photographer for our wedding?

At least 1 year before the wedding because people are usually booking the photographer right after they signed with a restaurant/vendor. But you can always try last minute, maybe I am free on your date, it’s worth trying.

Are you the only one editing the photographs?

Yes and I will always be, that is why I only take a limited amount of weddings per year (10-15) to make sure I can entirely focus on your photographs. And I am also still a full-time student, so that’s also a reason.

How much time do we have to wait for our pictures?

A few days after the wedding I will give you 3 sneak-peeks for you to share with the family. The rest will take around 4-6 weeks.

Do you give out the RAW images?

No, I only send high-quality edited JPEGS. My photography also includes the editing process, this is my personal touch and artistic view and the final products look way better than the straight-out-of-the-camera photos.

How would you describe your editing style?

True to reality with a touch of vintage. I love colours: blues & greens are always present in my photographs. I edit true to reality, depending on the light, mood, time of the day, the colours I have in front of my lens. That is why my photographs can be sometimes warmer and sometimes cooler.  I make sure to be careful not to change skin tones and I try to fix any temporary imperfections such as pimples or dark circles (it can happen to appear on your wedding day, but don’t worry I got you!). I do not make manipulations such as editing someone to appear skinnier, I believe everybody is absolutely beautiful the way it is and we should celebrate that, not hide it.

How many photographers are attending at our wedding?

Usually, I work alone but sometimes I bring Alex, my boyfriend, helper, assistant & second shooter, especially when I need to carry a lot of equipment. He is my superhero and he takes awesome party pictures, but I will let you know in advance if I bring someone with me (no extra fees for that).

While working, do you consider our personal wishes and ideas?

Yes, of course. Your wish is so important to me, you can always send me Pinterest boards with pictures you would love to recreate, or a photo shooting list. I am always open to new ideas and we can do anything that feels right for you, I am at your wedding to document your personality and we are a team, so when we put our minds together, we can create beautiful, authentic art.

What happens if we reschedule/ cancel our wedding/elopement/adventure shoot?

If you decide to reschedule, we would work together to find a new date that fits both of our schedules, no extra fees needed. If you decide to cancel, the deposit is not refundable (only in case of death in the close family or Covid 19 restrictions)

What if we have bad weather on our wedding day?

There is no such thing as bad weather for me. However the weather will be, it is your special day and we will do epic pictures be it sunny or stormy. My favourite pictures are in the rain, so please don’t worry about that aspect, we can improvise with a pretty umbrella and a groovy dance in the rain. In case this is just a couple photoshoot or an after-wedding photo session, we can always look into finding a new date that works for both of us.

We don’t have experience in front of the camera. Do you want to work with us?

YES. 99% of my couples were the first time in front of the lens when we met. I promise you, it will be easy, it will feel like an experience, not an awkward posing session. I will guide you all the time when you feel like you don’t know what to do. We will have fun together and you will be surprised how beautiful you will look in front of the camera, just the way you are! If you feel like you are unsure, you can always book a Save the Date photoshoot. This is how I usually meet my couples, get to know them and they become comfortable right away. On their wedding day, they feel like they see a friend again, instead of a photographer.

Which language do you speak?

I speak German, English & Romanian.
