Epic sunset in the Austrian Alps-Portraits in Zillertal

I want to make photographs that make you feel things. Not just capturing aesthetically pleasing places and beautiful girls. I may photograph those two, but I want you to step inside those photos with me to understand what I’m saying.

Can you feel the warmth of the few sun rays that are battling the clouds so they can shine through? The coldness of the snowy wind? Do you feel how fresh that water must be? What about the stones…can you see how old they are? They must be there since...forever.

Do you see a girl dancing free, enjoying nature like there is no tomorrow? The light sheer dress that blends with the colour of the earth? Do you see how everything is moving but at the same time, everything is so still? I do. And at that moment, I felt small. I felt small in front of a grandiose paint I wasn’t even sure it was real. But I am small, my problems are small, my worries as well…so why not breathe, enjoy what we´ve got and dance in the cold wearing just a dress feeling all warm inside?

Places like this, lighting like that, and a story to tell are all I need. Ever.

Someone once said that ‘‘some of the best memories are made in hiking shoes’’. And I swear by it.
